Frequently asked questions
Do I need to update my app?
No. Device tokens belong to Apple and Google; the tokens you export from OneSignal work from PushToAll. Add the PushToAll registration in your next release; until then old builds keep receiving notifications.
Will I lose subscribers?
No. Opt-ins, tags, user IDs and language carry over one-to-one. Only addresses that are already dead get pruned on the first send.
Is Firebase required?
Not for iOS: notifications go straight to APNs with Apple's .p8 key. Android needs a Firebase service account.
